Trust and transparency

Evidence behind our emergency preparedness guides.

Preparedness advice can affect life and health. Prepare Now prioritises primary government, public-health, humanitarian and scientific sources. Published guidance will show review dates and jurisdiction.

How sources are selected

  • Primary public-health or emergency-management guidance is preferred over summaries.
  • Jurisdiction-specific instructions are labelled and never presented as universal.
  • Scientific assessments support context; incident authorities control live actions.
  • Commercial relationships never determine safety recommendations.
  • Material changes create a new review date and evidence record.

Core source library

Research dataset

The working research library currently contains 65 authoritative sources, a 100-topic content backlog and a historical inventory of more than 700 recoverable URL candidates from PrepareNow.org and Prepare-Now.com. These working files are used for editorial planning; individual public pages will cite the evidence they directly use.
